I log on to check things out.. pay Rent and make potions about twice a week.

DAoC seems to be picking up where we thought it would be dead.

Relics are even changing hands.

I play War the rest of the time.. that is until others are thinking of going back to DAoC

Maybe if Mythic adds all the servers into one it would be time to check it out again.

id go back to daoc in an instant! actually im thinking of reactivating my accounts :P in fact i will and see whats doing this weekend :P hope i see some of u there! :P

There's a reason for why its been picking up. DAOC is an 'actual" RvR game where warhammer failed at. I've been considering going back to DAOC as well however I'd have to lvl up a new toon again since I don't think they keep the toons for years like WoW does. But hell I'd have a reason to want to lvl one up I loved the rvr content in daoc you could go out to frontiers solo or with a zerg and have a blast.

yep daoc do keep ur toons, mine are still there from the day i created them back in the days

I'm too busy being better than everyone at Call of Duty on my 360 to come back. I need to stay away from games with no end game.

How's the end game in COD?

I played WH....and from beta to launch it was 2 different games and fixes too to long for my likeing...quit it for well a better populated game...which im hating as well right now. I am really missing how pvp was done and done right with DAoC. (with a few exceptions)...
Looks like they are going to announce something regarding Origins in the next few weeks...they mentioned something about Origins and cant talk about it yet. To me, this means 1 think which can be taken two ways...first they are worried about their stocks....but besides that...they can either be announcing Origins server(s) by the end of feb or middle of march...and be out for summer. OR tie in the rumor of "project b" thats worth 140millon or so...and it could be an overhaul of DAoC itself and lauch like DAoC:Origins with the balance done right and hopefully the same combat setup as the original game.
But anyways if the server gets launched I want to say we should roll MIDGARD. Mid tank grp > others IMO

Playing a couples of stealther togheter is really good in daoc.
I think also Origins server could be awesome. I would like to see again Chanteclair make a real Mezz without be canceled in 2 sec :)

Wow that does look interesting. No lvling just skill lvling. :) And almost endless possibility's with creating your characters skills. The whole gaurd thing seems cool how you can have a city for your clan (im assuming) and then buy npc's to gaurd it sell things in it and get food and wood and shit. Seems really cool.

yah i heard of it somewhat....some friends wanna play it when it comes out...cuz wow is sucking bad for pvp with some class changes and shit like that....and i miss immunity on stuns and stuff....chain stun rogues suck balls....really not liking getting my 25k hp ass owned by a freaking rogue that spams that.
o and playing a game when where they merge servers for pvp and you get to see names that you seen from other games (luxferre....and now hani also) and ask them and thank god :P it turns out that it isnt them :P lol....
but i should of asked if he was french canadian......
had a buddy of mine say french canadia to one guy who was playing WH with us at one time.....had to be from there...lol mindfreak.... hehe

yah origins be the best for me....would love that...but im gonna look into that other game some more though

what darkfall looks like to me its zergfest though....we gonna need bbbstyle for that.
but looks like oblivion too....which that game is cool...lets see how it goes...would love to get into a beta trial of it or something to see how it is....and hope they dont change too much things that ruin a game for tons of ppl.

Kohe yeah i still dont care enough to spell your name right:P CoD on 360 blows. PS3 is where its at:P But i guess it really depends on which system you play it on first. i had a hard ass time learning the playstation controller again after playin gears of war and halo religiously when i stopped playin daoc for a while. So when i tried playing on 360 i couldn't get into CoD on it...just kept pissing me off.

Narco, the end game in CoD is not that bad...didn't take but a few hrs to beat. my sister rocks playing online but kinda blew at solo so i had to finish it for her so she was able to host zombies lmao which i am addicted to so im glad i finished it for her.

WTH is Zombies?

omg you finish the end game? go to co-op and find zombies...gotta keep the zombies out of the house that you're in...you can run to the wall to get more weapons also a box in the back you can get em at too and be sure to close the windows up after the zombies try to break in. Can only play with 4 people and i'd suggest not opening the damn back door til around level 7. it's stupid fun to play solo too lmao and no i wasn't kidding! i'd rather play on ps3.

yeah i don't know about the whole ps3 thing. but zombies is pretty sweet. you're stuck in a building, online you can have up to 3 other people playing. 5 windows boarded up to start. zombies try and break in, you kill them. they need to rip the boards off the windows and climb in. as you shoot them you get points. use the points to either buy guns or open pathways. you need to open pathways cause the main room gets too overrun. i open the back door and then there is a random weapon box.
$950 per open. $10 for hitting a zombie, $60 to kill a zombie, $100 to kill a zombie with a headshot. you keep killing zombies and opening the random box till you get the best guns. then you pretty much dig in and kill swarms of them until you die.

is this Cod4 only or also world at war?

Hi All!!! Well ive reactivated my daoc account and im back! seriously no other game is like daoc, its just the bomb :P anyway i got married last weekend so my husband will be playing also, he has a ranger called Aniel and ive asked if he can also join the guild :)

So looking forward to playing again and healing you all! :D

FPS games on the console just suck in general.

And don't waste your time in Darkfall. I was in the beta for a long time and it sucks. It's nothing more than a gank fest. The controls are horrible and game play is bad as well. And it's full loot drop. So anytime you die you pretty much have to start over gear wise. Nothing more stupid in any game than a full loot system.

But as far as DAoC goes. I have been having fun since I came back. Origins would be cool if they were looking to go that route. I think they should scrap WAR all together and just make a DAoC 2. Improve the combat, graphics, balance & add some small end game stuff. And the game would take right off again.
